The Cure Simulator comprises a durable cure sensor embeded in a heating cell that can be programmed through a Jumo temperature controller (picture below).

With a small resin quantity poured over the sensor into the heating cell, the resin can follow a prescribed temperature cycle while the resistivity is recorded in combination with an Optimold system. The Cure Simulator can be used with liquid resin, adhesive pastes and prepregs.

Following a series of similar trials and the DSC results of the produced coupons, a full mapping of the curing behaviour of the resin can be generated.
