RTM is used for the production of high quality structural parts most of the times using an injection machine. Our in-mould sensors can be used at temperatures up to 210^oC and up to 60 bars injection pressure and have limited sensitivity to carbon fibres. The use of our systems can:

• ensure good filling
• monitoring resin's viscosity during injection
• optimise curing temperature to avoid large exotherms
• identify the end-of-cure to drastically reduce cycle time
• monitor production for quality control purposes,

Optimold for cure monitoring can be combined with Optiflow for monitoring when resin arrives at specific locations into the cavity or at the outlet gates so automatic control actions can be executed accordingly. All these data can be recorded and a detailed track of the manufacturing quality and performance is available to the manufacturer. Our systems do not require any special treatment, release agent or cleaning besides the normal maintenance of the tools. To minimise the burden at the production floor wireless communication can be used.
